Office Tower Bin Room Playbook

Multiple tenants share the same bin rooms. A few standards keep contamination low and pickups predictable.

Bin room setup

• Rear-lift 240L/360L for levels; 660L/1100L in main rooms.
• Streams: general, commingled, cardboard; add secure bins for confidential paper where needed.
• Clear floor markings and bin labels; lids must close flat.

Cleaning and contractors

• Daily tidy: wipe spills, close lids, remove loose cardboard.
• Night cleaners instructed to flatten boxes and keep liquids out of commingled.
• Blocked access log for any missed pickups; share monthly with building management.

Tenant onboarding

• One-page guide with photos of your actual bins and what goes where.
• Show lift thresholds: drop a pickup if bins stay <60% full; add one if >80% full.
• Quarterly email with contamination photos and fixes.

Reporting

• Monthly summary: lifts per stream, contamination events, overflows.
• Highlight tenants with clean streams and share their signage as a template.
